The iBoss has the ability to fully integrate with existing network switches and routers in order to apply MAC Address based identification for computers on the network. This allows the iBoss to uniquely identify a computer based on the computer network interface unique ID. MAC Address based filtering can also be used across routers and switches as the iBoss will automatically synchronize with routers such as Cisco® and HP®.
This makes it easy to identify not only the user that was accessing the Internet but in addition provides the workstation that the user was operating when an Internet access occurs. |
