 Web Filtering - Anti-Virus/Malware Protection

The Internet is full of viruses, spyware, and other malware that can bring down computers on your network. The iBoss™ Enterprise protects you from these threats by preventing users on your network from accessing malicious websites and blocking online applications that allow threats into the network.

The iBoss™ Enterprise gives you the ability to block Virus and Malware content from the Internet adding an additional layer of security to your existing security infrastructure.

Identity Theft Protection

Identity theft is America's fastest growing crime. Every year, approximately 9.9 million Americans become victims of identity theft, over 50% of which are Internet related. The iBoss™ Enterprise protects you against identity theft and online fraud by stopping Phishing attempts.

Phishers send E-mail and pop-up messages that claim to be from a business or organization that you may deal with - for example, an Internet service provider (ISP), bank, online payment service, or even a government agency. The message may ask you to "update," "validate," or "confirm" your account information. Some phishing E-mails threaten a dire consequence if you don't respond. The messages direct you to a website that looks just like a legitimate organization's site. But it isn't. It's a bogus site whose sole purpose is to trick you into divulging your personal information so the operators can steal your identity and run up bills or commit crimes in your name.

The iBoss™ Enterprise protects you from Phishing attempts by blocking access to fraudulent websites used by Phishers. In addition, the iBoss analyzes web requests directed at domains via direct IP Address access and allows you to prevent them from making it to their destination. For example, links in fraudulent emails usually contain direct IP URLs, even though they may appear to be pointing to the valid domain. The iBoss transparently blocks this, protecting users on the network that may not be aware of these phishing schemes.
