Do I need to set up a static IP address so that I can access the iBoss™ ?
What if I don't know my IP address of my network that the iBoss™ is installed on?
I'm a network administrator and want to remotely manage my client's device. Can we assign the unit to two different accounts?
I have store franchises and want to set up the same network with the iBoss™ installed at all the locations. Can I easily do that with a Remote Management account?
Will Remote Management work through a firewall?
Q. Do I need to set up a static IP address so that I can access the iBoss™?

No, with the Remote Management account, your iBoss™ is already securely connected to our system. You do not need to set up a static IP address on your network to remotely access it.

Q. What if I don't know the IP address of my network that the iBoss™ is installed on?
You do not need the IP address of your network that the iBoss™ is installed on in order to use the Remote Management portal. The iBoss™ is already connected to our network and you will just simply need your login information to access it.

Q. I'm a network administrator and want to remotely manage my clients device. Can we assign the unit to two different Remote Management accounts?
Yes. You can assign the unit to two different Remote Management accounts. This will allow you to help troubleshoot the device remotely without having to go to the physical location where it is installed. The iBoss™ can be removed from the account as well if the registration key is reset within the device.

Q. I have store franchises and want to set up the same network with the iBoss™ installed at all the locations. Can I easily do that with a Remote Management account?
The Remote Management portal allows you to download and upload settings for the iBoss™ units. You may set up one device and download the settings for that unit. Once you have the settings of one device, you may upload the same settings to the other devices making it easier to set up different locations with the same settings.

Q. Will Remote Management work through a firewall?

Yes, since the iBoss™ is already securely connected to our system, Remote Management is capable of working through firewalls where the iBoss™ is already connected to; You do not need to set up and additional port forwarding or settings.
